greetings

This is sort of a general all-purpose blog where i keep all the things i really want to write about but my friends are sick of hearing about.

It will be partly about AI biorisk because I've been thinking about that a lot recently but I really hope to finish a set of surfboard fins i've been working on for almost a year and post a lot of in-progress shots of those.

Sometimes there will be some musings about the ocean. Sometimes there may be dive pics.

I have used AI to configure this blog (it is hosted on porkbun and generated by pelican, if you can't read the footer) but all the words are exclusively my own. I'm trying to keep this pseudonymous because I was raised to shun attention but if you want to talk to me directly about something DM me on bluesky. I would like to work on something productive instead of just complaining.
